Your tasks:
- Your work focus is to ensure the 24/7 availability of our application services for our customers. You will be responsible with complex application environments.
- You will improve the automation level of our IT infrastructure and application service based on current cloud technologies.
- Another focus will be creation and maintenance of “Infrastructure as Code” (Azure).
- In addition, you will take care of requests of our partners and development teams.
- Last but not least, you show interest and inspiration in the continuous improvement of our agile team.
Your profile:
- It doesn’t matter if you come with a degree or an accredited education (e.g. CS, IT, BI): Application operations and the automation of IT infrastructure are your passion.
- You are versatile in the knowledge of Linux, including shell scripting, container technologies (AKS, Docker) and network knowledge. In addition, you have a good grasp on web applications (TLS, certificates, caching, load balancing, proxying, virtual hosts, backup strategies).
- Your technological skills are rounded off by knowledge and experience in operations of highly available IT applications.
- Reliability, readiness for action, team spirit paired with a high amount of responsibility are more than mere word shells for you.
- The availability for standby service after your training phase and fluent English skills round off your profile.
