Junior Backend Developer (Remote in Poland)

Currently  we are looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our Solution Fast Track (SFT) team . In this role, you'll support business teams by quickly delivering enhancements across multiple products and developing internal tools. You'll work closely with experienced developers in a dynamic, flexible environment, where task priorities are set based on real customer needs. Daily activities:

• Collaborate with the Solution Fast Track (SFT) team to rapidly deliver business-driven features and enhancements across multiple products.
• Maintain and improve internal tools to meet the evolving needs of both customers and internal teams.
• Develop and implement smaller backend features and bug fixes, primarily using PHP (Laravel) and MySQL.
• Occasionally support minor frontend tasks using technologies like jQuery, Bootstrap, or basic Vue.js components.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to ensure smooth coordination and team alignment.
• Leverage modern AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor IDE, Windsurf IDE) to boost coding efficiency and speed.
• Follow best coding practices with guidance and mentoring from senior developers to support your continuous growth.

Requirements

• Basic experience in PHP development (Laravel knowledge preferred).
• Understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL (or MariaDB).
• Familiarity with frontend basics: HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap; knowing basic Vue.js is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of version control systems (GIT).
• Ability to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Cursor IDE, or Windsurf IDE to assist in coding tasks.
• Good problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Polish at C1 and English at a minimum B2 level (both spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Experience in building simple internal tools or web interfaces.
• Basic understanding of debugging techniques and code testing.
