- Project details: The Technical Writer / Solution Analyst will work as part of the PMO/IT Development teams for the Client. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating technical documents and online manuals, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner and will work with the IT team to ensure the accuracy of Piggy product offerings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- College Graduate of any computer-related course
- 2-5 years experience in technical writing
- Proficient in creating flowcharting, diagrams, wireframes
- Exposure and familiarity with systems development life cycle and terminologies
- Documented at least 2 medium to large scale projects on computer applications
- Ability to set priorities and undertake complex tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with multiple teams and multiple projects
- Experience writing developer guides, end-user documentation, and software release communications
- Excellent verbal and writing skills, including the ability to research, design, and write new documentation, as well as to maintain and improve existing materials
- Experience with creating online documentation in Confluence
- Experience in short release cycles and Agile-Scrum methodology
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working closely with development teams to create and update technical documents including; white papers, getting started guides, administrator guides, user guides and API reference guides
- Building out and maintaining an existing library of documentation including technical specifications, release communications, user manuals, KB and other materials as needed
- Delivering high-quality documentation to our practices and end-users, while also contributing to establishing best practices and standards
- Conducting research (eg. study existing documentation and the profiles of the target. audience of the documentation and the profiles of the target audience of the documentation)
- Gathering information from Business Analysts, developers and QA engineers in order to produce comprehensive documentation
