- Project details: The Client is a venture backed and expert driven AI company, seeks a Senior Backend Golang Engineer with the ambition to build great software. They integrate with platforms where businesses keep their knowledge and documents like Google Drive and Sharepoint and provide seamless knowledge syncing and ML model retraining so the updated information always is available to the end-users. This is in part enabled by scalable microservice-based backend infrastructure, built on cutting-edge tools like Go, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes. This is an agile organization and development processes are based on agile approaches. There is a modern continuous integration infrastructure, and together with our 100% cloud based products with a short distance from code to production. You will join our Application team and be part of our core integration group that implements connectors to external source systems (CMSs, document systems etc).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Taking charge of designing and implementing new backend services ( in collaboration with the team)
- Maintaining and improving existing backend services and cloud infrastructure
- Ensuring that our services meet our quality standards
- Integrating with various external systems and services
- Working alongside our Data Scientists to get state-of-the-art machine learning models into production
- Working closely with the rest of the team in doing code reviews, be part of all daily activities, refinement, planning, and retrospective learning processes
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Go (Golang), relational databases and SQL
- Some experience with Linux and Docker
- Some experience with test frameworks, version control, and CI
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices
