PROJECT INFORMATION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supporting Data Foundation – Azure-based Data and Analytics platform – and the data pipelines running on it.
Handling incidents and service requests for Data foundation solutions.
Providing enhancement/development of Data Foundation.
Upgrading and maintenance of the Data Foundation platform.
Monitoring the environments to ensure stability and efficient running of the stack.
Providing environment sizing.
Providing continuous improvements of solutions and maintenance tools.
Updating documentation.
Deploying solutions between environments using CI/CD methods and Infra-as-Code.
Receiving Hand Over Take On from Data Foundation Developers.
Providing reviews of pull requests to check rule compliance.
Providing training and refreshers sessions.

REQUIREMENTS:

3 - 4 years of experience working in a similar area.
Solid experience with ETL processes.
Experience with Analytics, Data Warehousing and BI.
Proficiency in SQL.
Working with cloud services, ideally in Microsoft Azure: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks/Spark, Function Apps.
Knowledge of the change processes.
Understanding of Agile ways of working.
Experience in taking delivery of process/tools/applications from the project team and making it operational.
Able to prioritize and reprioritize often to meet the needs of the business.
Clear communication in English.

NICE TO HAVE:

Proficiency with Spark and Python.
Experience with ServiceNow.
Knowledge and experience around SAP data model (as many ETL sources will be SAP-related).
