Software Engineer - .NET

At Pretius we are looking for Software Engineer - .NET to a project focused on development of a BNPL solution for the eCommerce platform.

Location: Cracow (hybrid)

Salary: 135-145 zł netto/h

Project/Role

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality code for the technical platform, including backend services, APIs, and automation scripts

• Participate in on-calls

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to gather and refine requirements

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Debug and resolve software defects and issues

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies

Requirements

• 3+ years of working experience in software development with .NET

• Strong proficiency in the .NET platform (SDK, IDE) and C#, including application design, testing, and debugging

• Familiarity with software design patterns and testing methodologies, as well as debugging tools and performance testing utilities

• Creative thinker with a broad perspective, capable of finding efficient solutions that meet user requirements

• Takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code, open to feedback, and willing to share knowledge during code reviews

• Experience with HTTP protocol and API testing tools, such as Postman, Wireshark, and Swagger

• English proficiency at minimum B2 level, sufficient for working with documentation and in international teams

• Familiarity with Kubernetes is a nice-to-have
