Senior C++ Engineer

At Pretius, we are looking for an Senior C++ Engineer to a project in the financial industry, international team.

Project / Role

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications.

• Implement backend logic and services using Python and modern frameworks.

• Build responsive, modern frontend interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue, including state management libraries like Redux or MobX.

• Deliver cloud-native solutions with AWS services and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive product development.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently and within a team.

• Explore new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement within the engineering team.

• Engage in product‑level thinking, understanding the business value behind technical decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in C++ (modern C++ preferred).

• Hands-on experience contributing to complex features with a good product-level understanding and exposure to diverse technologies.

• Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and experience developing in a Linux environment (user level).

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of well-defined technical tasks and drive them to completion with high quality.

• Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, including Python, AWS and Go.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Go and/or Python.

• Experience with cloud-native development and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Experience in enterprise-scale application development in cloud or SaaS environments (AWS serverless architecture is a definite advantage).

• Experience in building fullstack applications, including REST API-based backend systems and modern frontend interfaces.

• Familiarity with networking protocols, security principles, and database systems.

• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
