Quantum Engineer

At Pretius, we are looking for Quantum Engineer to a project in the financial industry, international team.

Project / Role

• Designing and implementing quantum algorithms for real-world business challenges.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing IT and analytics platforms.

• Conducting research on emerging quantum technologies and assessing their applicability to financial, regulatory, and operational use cases.

• Developing proof-of-concepts and prototypes using leading quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).

• Supporting client engagements by translating complex quantum concepts into actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent).

• Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with C++ or Java is a plus.

• Solid understanding of quantum algorithms (e.g., Grover’s, Shor’s) and quantum mechanics fundamentals.

• Experience with classical algorithms and optimization techniques.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
