Data Security Consultant (Azure)

At Pretius, we are looking for Data Security Consultant (Azure) to a project in the financial industry, international team.

Project / Role

Data Residency Services

• Consolidate Data Residency Requirements by translating business expectations into technical infrastructure and security specifications.

• Conduct high-level inventory review of existing Azure infrastructure and IAM services relevant to data residency.

• Assess current monitoring and logging capabilities to ensure compliance with consolidated residency requirements.

• Document findings, prepare gap analysis summaries, and recommend corrective actions.

• Design standardized Service Catalogs for Data Residency (IaaS service offerings).

• Define monitoring and reporting mechanisms supporting residency obligations.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align the Data Residency model.

Data Protection Services

• Perform high-level assessment of the architecture and deployment of data platforms (e.g., Databricks on Azure).

• Define and configure key Azure security measures — including identity, access, and data protection controls.

• Support the development of secure-by-design data solutions aligned with cloud security best practices.

• Evaluating the performance and output quality of generative and NLP models.

• Analyzing data extracted from documents to support the resolution of business requests and inquiries.

• Enhancing existing rule-based engines by integrating AI-generated suggestions and automation capabilities.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and deliver high-quality AI solutions.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure and its security principles.

• Experience working on security consulting projects (cloud, data, or infrastructure security).

• Knowledge of data security measures (IAM, encryption, monitoring, data governance).

• Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into secure technical designs.
