Azure Engineer - Optimization Specialist

At Pretius we are looking for Azure Engineer - Optimization Specialist in the global-scale Gaming and Lotteries project.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud infrastructure and a keen eye for identifying optimization opportunities, with a particular focus on cost savings. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating our existing Azure environment, recommending improvements, and implementing solutions to enhance performance and reduce costs.

Location: remote

Salary: 180-210 pln netto/h

Project / Role

• Evaluate and analyze the current Azure cloud infrastructure to identify areas for optimization and cost-saving
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and performance of cloud resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features, best practices, and industry trends

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure cloud infrastructure
• Strong understanding of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security
• Experience with cost management and optimization tools in Azure
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates

Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insightsrnetes)
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator)
