Job description

Predica is an IT consulting company that helps companies around the world to boost IT systems for better, safety, and productivity by implementing award-winning Microsoft technologies.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist, who could join our company and would help build a motivated and determined team.

Job responsibilities:

Participating in ML / BI projects based on Microsoft Data stack,
Solving machine learning problems such as forecasting, churn modeling, segmentation, targeting, etc.,
Designing and implementing end to end machine learning pipelines including EDA, feature engineering, feature selection, model training, model deployment in Azure,
Break down business requirements into technical specifications,
Developing in-house algorithms from areas of recommender systems and knowledge mining,
Solving speech, text, image, and video analytics problems with Azure Cognitive Services Stack,
Perform solutions handover, knowledge transfer, training, and workshops, prepare project documentation, collecting requirements from the Client,
Tech leading an ML project team,
Supporting presales actitvities (sketching solution architecture, getting requirements from the customer, proposing PoC solutions),
Exploring new ML concepts in practice (eg. MLOps).

Requirements:

Excellent Python programming skills, ability to write automation scripts,
Theoretical understanding of Machine Learning concepts,
Data engineering: ability to identify appropriate data sources, create data loads process, merge an clean the data prior to analysis,
3-4 years experience in commercial data science projects,
Knowledge of SQL language,
Strong analytical and problem solving skills,
Ability to work in a team and mentor less experienced members of the team,
Fluent English.

Nice to have:
Experience with Microsoft Azure Data stack: Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI,
Experience with Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning,
Experience in Big Data frameworks: Spark, Azure Databricks,
Familiarity with R.
