Manual Tester Remote

About the Project:

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester to join our team for an exciting greenfield project with a UK-based insurance client. You will be part of a team developing a brand-new web application supporting the quote and buy journey for insurance products. This is a unique opportunity to participate in building a system from scratch and testing modern solutions integrated with an existing insurance system API.

Your Responsibilities:

• Understanding requirements and creating test cases
• Executing test cases on both frontend and backend (e.g., checking technical messages between the portal and GW PolicyCenter)
• Verifying data stored in PolicyCenter (e.g., confirming field accuracy and correct mapping)
• Maintaining high software quality standards
• Daily communication with the project team (in English)

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of experience as a Manual Tester
• Experience in testing web applications (desktop and mobile)
• Ability to create test cases, scenarios, and bug reports
• Experience with responsive and usability testing
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript in the context of testing (nice to have)
• Familiarity with integration testing using REST APIs (e.g., Postman – nice to have)
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design
• Accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• English at minimum B2 level – daily cooperation with the UK client

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the insurance or financial industry
• Knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium – a strong plus)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Understanding of design systems and UI components
