Quality Assurance Specialist (Manual testing)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality products by thoroughly testing throughout testing phase of development life cycle (Regression, Functional, Integration, End to End testing and so on) using a combination of testing methods.
• Design, create and build test cases.
• Execute functional testing, regression testing and UI/UX testing, for all new features in cross browser environments (including mobile devices if needed).
• Communicate, prioritize and track test execution, defects and issues appropriately and recommend corrective action whenever required.
• Collaborate with the Software Development teams Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand the requirements and develop and manage the test scenarios for all the new development projects.
• Collaborate in a virtual, international team across time zones
• Participate on Agile ceremonies, being focused on requirement definition/refinement as early in the SDLC as possible.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or between 5 years or more of work experience and technical training (Code Bootcamp, etc.).
• ISTQB or other certificate in software testing is a major advantage
• Working understanding of software architecture including cloud (AWS), APIs, CI/CD and basics of programming languages, databases,.
• Extensive analytical abilities and technical skills to isolate problems, fix immediate needs, analyze all ramifications and implement complete solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate and participate in teams.
• Ability to work without close supervision, keeping focused on short and long-term objectives.
