Polar Night Software is a software consultancy company based in Łódź working mainly with Nordic clients. We were founded in early 2020 and we are growing. We have got some good references from Nordic customers and they trust that we deliver quality solutions.

Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with experience in working with large data masses and creating complex algorithms. This is a long-term project. The end-customer is planning to optimise their current algorithms and you would be working in a team of a few experienced developers. The team is international.

Must-have:

• Strong back-end experience
• Strong experience in high-performance Java
• Strong experience in working with databases and data structures
• Experience in working with large data masses / large databases
• Experience and interest in implementing complex algorithms in Java (linear optimisation or heuristic methods)
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience

Nice-to-have:

• Pragmatic data science understanding and experience working together with data science teams

Fluent English skills will be necessary for the position, cause we’re working only with Nordic and international clients. We have an office in Łódź. You are free to work from the office or pretty much fully remote as long as you are ready to visit the colleagues now and then. You need to however live in Poland.

Salary: 17.000 - 26.000 + VAT (B2B) per month, depending on your experience.
