Tech Lead (SONiC-based Product)

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a SONiC-based networking solution

Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, driving best practices in development, CI/CD, and testing

Optimize network performance, security, and reliability within the SONiC ecosystem

Collaborate closely with product managers, customers, and partners to define technical requirements and roadmaps.

Contribute to open-source communities and stay up to date with the latest advancements in SONiC and networking technologies

Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and software issues

Ensure the product meets enterprise-grade performance, security, and compliance standards

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in network software development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role

Strong expertise in SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud), SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface), and related networking technologies

Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Go for network software development

Experience with switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, etc.)

Hands-on experience with Linux networking, network orchestration, and automation

Strong understanding of cloud networking, data centers, and SDN architectures

Experience with containerized environments and CI/CD workflows

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex networking issues

Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience contributing to the SONiC open-source community.

- Experience with ASIC vendors and their SDKs
