SecOps Engineer

Are you passionate about cloud security and eager to make a real impact in a dynamic and growing team? We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled SecOps Engineer to join our team of specialists. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of defining, operating and securing our cloud infrastructure and playing a key part in enhancing the security posture across our organization.

Your position in our team:

• Key-Player in a small team of specialists: Take on a crucial role in a tight-knit team, where your contributions will directly impact our cloud landscape and security initiatives.
• Conception/implementation/operation of security-related infrastructure topics and regulatory requirements
• Communication with risk/information security functions in the organization
• Collaborate with product teams and improve the SDL across the whole organization
• Responsible for improving the security posture of our cloud infrastructure: Continuously assess and strengthen the security of our AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
• Respond and manage cyber security incidents: Act swiftly to identify, manage, and resolve security incidents, minimizing impact and preventing future occurrences.

• Manager-of-one/self-sufficient: You take ownership of tasks and projects, working independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communicator: You explain complex technical details clearly and collaborate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
• Eager to learn: You have a passion for learning new technologies and are always curious to dive into unknown territory.
• Excited about what you do: You love tackling challenging technical problems and have a genuine passion for tech.
• Reliable & Quality aware: You deliver on time, paying close attention to detail, and maintaining high standards in your work.
• Proficiency in English is required
• German at B2 level is required

Technologies: 

• Daily: Hands-on experience with terraform, shell-scripting, AWS services (VPC/Networking, EC2 & ELB, Route53, IAM, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda, S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch Logs, StepFunction, etc.).
• Weekly: Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript, Datadog, and Wiz.
• Monthly: Knowledge of JVM, Helm, python, go, maven/gradle, spring framework, RabbitMQ.
