Cloud and Hosting/SRE/DevOps Contractors

We are looking for an independent contractors with complementary capabilities in networking, Linux administration, security, and experience with cloud services, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS.)

Rate/h: 100 - 170 PLN NET+ VAT

Service delivery: Central European Time

Project: 

The Pearson Authoring Framework (PAF) supports a collection of about 15 Products that consist of many applications and apis. The PAF focuses on supporting the development teams that build up the Content Pipeline. There are 4 stages to the Content Pipeline which are 1) Content Ingestion, 2) Content Authoring/Production, 3) Content Enhancement, 4) Content Distribution.

Services Required: 

• Maintain systems stability, availability, and high performance level, occasional 'on call' services.
• 'on call duty' on rotation, paid premium

Contractor Capabilities required:

• Complementary capabilities in networking, Linux administration, security, and experience with cloud services, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS.)

Tech stack:

• One of the following language: Java, Python, Git, Node 
• Cloud related services (VPC, EC2, S3, Route53, RDS, ECS, CloudFront, API Gateway)
• Linux
• SQL or NoSQL database platforms - e.g. MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, DynamoDB, RDS Aurora, MySQL, etc.
• Terraform or CloudFormation
• Jenkins
• Ansible, Puppet
• CloudWatch, New Relic, etc
• AWS ECS and Docker
