Senior Node.js Developer

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the stabilization and enhancement of a high-traffic mobile application. In this role, you will focus on optimizing performance, ensuring scalability, and addressing critical architectural challenges to improve system reliability and efficiency. 

Beyond stabilization efforts, you will also play a key role in developing new features, expanding the platform’s capabilities while maintaining a robust and scalable infrastructure. 

You will collaborate closely with a skilled team of backend and frontend engineers, as well as a product owner, working together to resolve performance bottlenecks, enhance system stability, and deliver innovative functionalities. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a complex, fast-growing product where backend excellence is essential to delivering a seamless user experience.

Salary: 17.500 - 25.000 PLN net per month B2B (105-150 PLN per hour)

Requirements:

• 5 years of backend development
• English B2+
• Performance optimizations on DB & API level
• Building scalable backend services
• Good communication skills with non-tech people

Core stack

Responsibilities:

• Optimize and improve backend performance
• Address scalability issues for high-traffic environments
• Ensure efficient API communication with the frontend team
• Debug and resolve complex backend problems
• Support architectural decisions for better system stability
• Contribute to the development of new backend features
