Senior Data Science

We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Data Scientist with a strong background in mathematics and statistics, preferably with research and civil engineering experience. This is not a typical coding or data engineering role – we need a data scientist who can work independently, engage directly with stakeholders, and take ownership of building and testing optimisation and forecasting algorithms.

Main Tasks:

• Testing mathematical optimisation / prediction algorithms

• Discovering stakeholders needs

• Engaging with limited IT team and recommending appropriate solutions

Must have requirements

• Coding skills

• Data science skills (actual maths/stats background

• Independency on working with IT/business stakeholders

Nice to have requirements

• Research skills & track record

• Experience in civil engineering
