Lead IT/OT Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced IT/OT architect who can design and drive secure, scalable architectures across manufacturing and warehousing environments. This role will establish the foundation for our digitalization journey. You bring deep expertise in IT/OT segmentation, the Purdue Model, and IEC 62443, and you translate complex requirements into robust, implementable solutions.

Build the secure IT/OT foundation for our digitalization journey

Orifarm is embarking on a major digitalization journey across our manufacturing and warehouse locations. We will start by establishing a secure, scalable, and future-proof IT/OT foundation that enables automation, data-driven operations, and long-term innovation. As Lead IT/OT Solution Architect, you will define and implement the architectural backbone for this transformation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Define and implement IT/OT segmentation strategies aligned with the Purdue Model and IEC 62443, including zoning, conduits, and secure remote access concepts

• Design and maintain the target architecture for manufacturing and warehouse OT environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cybersecurity by design

• Assess existing OT environments and define structured remediation and modernization roadmaps

• Establish architecture principles, standards, and reference designs that enable future digital use cases such as advanced automation, system integration, industrial IoT, and analytics

• Lead collaboration across Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Automation, and external partners to ensure compliant, robust, and maintainable implementations

You will join the Digital Manufacturing & Innovation team and report to the Director of Digital Manufacturing & Innovation within the IT organization. You will work closely with central IT functions and local site teams to ensure alignment between operational requirements and enterprise architecture.

Who are you? 

Architectural authority within IT/OT and industrial cybersecurity

You hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or similar, and you have substantial experience designing IT/OT architectures in manufacturing, logistics, or other regulated industrial environments.

You bring:

• Proven experience implementing IT/OT segmentation based on the Purdue Model in production or warehouse environments

• Strong knowledge of IEC 62443 and practical experience translating the framework into network architecture, security controls, and governance mechanisms

• Hands-on experience with industrial technologies such as PLCs, SCADA, MES, WMS/WCS, robotics, and industrial communication protocols

• Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud integration, identity and access management, and secure remote connectivity

• Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives in complex, multi-site environments

You combine strategic architectural thinking with pragmatic execution capability. You are structured and analytical, capable of defining standards while ensuring real-world applicability. You communicate complex technical topics clearly across IT, engineering, and operational stakeholders.

Fluency in English is required.

Job Location

Warsaw, Poland. Hybrid work model – 3x/week from the office located in the prestigious Gdański Business Center at Inflancka 4A.

Regular travel to manufacturing and warehouse locations is expected.
