Senior Technical Manager – .NET & React


📍 Hybrid in Warsaw (3 days/week onsite required) | 💼 Full-time | Contract of Employment (Umowa o Pracę) | Salary up to $9,500/month


Our client is a US-based technology company headquartered in New York City, delivering digital solutions and consulting services that transform businesses and drive measurable value. With offices in multiple countries, the company is now investing in a new engineering centre in Warsaw, recognizing the strong talent and culture of Polish software professionals.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Manager with deep expertise in .NET technologies and modern React frontend development. This is a strategic leadership role for a technologist who excels at building and guiding high-performing teams, making architectural decisions, and delivering robust, scalable web applications using Microsoft’s technology stack.

This is a hybrid position — you will be expected to work from the Warsaw office at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Define and guide architecture for web applications using React (frontend) and .NET Core/Framework (backend), leveraging RESTful and GraphQL APIs

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor engineers across the .NET/React stack; instill best development practices and foster team growth

  • Project Execution: Drive delivery of end-to-end features with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability

  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to shape technical direction and delivery timelines

  • Code & Architecture Reviews: Maintain high code quality through rigorous reviews, enforcing scalable architecture and .NET coding standards

  • Scalability & Performance: Optimize application performance through advanced .NET tuning and architectural best practices

  • Innovation: Continuously evaluate and introduce modern frameworks, tools, and methodologies within the Microsoft ecosystem

  • Risk Management: Identify risks early, propose solutions, and keep projects on track


Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

  • 10+ years in software development, including strong experience in .NET and React

  • Advanced proficiency in:

  • React.js (Hooks, Context API, modern patterns)

  • .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#

  • ASP. .NET Core Web API, MVC

  • Entity Framework Core or Entity Framework

  • SQL Server and relational database design

  • Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript

  • Proven experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous design patterns

  • Cloud platform experience: Azure, AWS, or GCP

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Azure DevOps

  • Proficient with Git and DevOps practices

  • Solid understanding of software design principles, microservices, and architecture

  • Experience with SignalR and RxJS is a plus

Managerial & Leadership Skills

  • Demonstrated success in leading agile development teams

  • Skilled at mentoring developers across skill levels

  • Strong project planning, estimation, and delivery execution

  • Excellent communication with both technical and business stakeholders

  • Agile/Scrum practitioner with hands-on delivery experience


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

  • 10+ years of professional development experience, with a focus on .NET and React in the last 5+ years

  • At least 3 years in a technical leadership or engineering management role

  • Microsoft certifications in .NET, Azure, or related tech
