About the Project
Optiveum is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join a dynamic, international project for one of our key clients — a global IT solutions provider. The project involves working on cutting-edge technologies, focusing on secure data integration, cloud environments, and advanced data management solutions.
You will collaborate with a motivated team of experts, working remotely from Poland, delivering high-quality solutions in a professional and supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust database and data warehouse solutions
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes using tools like Matillion, SAP BODS, and DBT
- Integrate cloud technologies and ensure secure data transmissions
- Apply DevOps practices to data operations
- Create and maintain clear, detailed technical documentation (SDD/TDD)
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, SoX Controls, SPI/PI handling, and auditing requirements
- Leverage automation (RPA) and AI/ML concepts in data solutions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Databases and MS-SQL
- Expertise in Data Warehousing: Snowflake, Redshift
- Experience with Cloud Technologies and Integration Technologies
- Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools: Matillion, SAP BODS, DBT
- Security and Authentication experience (Basic, KeyPair, Token)
- Secure Data Transmission, Encryption methods
- Knowledge of Mobile Technologies
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts
- Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
- Strong skills in Analytics and Business Intelligence
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Understanding of SoX, Audit, GDPR, SPI/PI handling
- Experience with Data Retention and Archiving strategies
- Front-end familiarity (HTML, JavaScript)
- Coding skills: Python, NodeJS
- Strong focus on Documentation practices (SDD/TDD)
