About Opendoor
Founded in 2014, Opendoor's mission is to empower everyone with the freedom to move. We believe the traditional real estate process is broken, and our goal is simple: build a digital, end-to-end customer experience that makes buying and selling a home simple, certain, and fast. We’ve supported over 100,000 home transactions and are just getting started.
Transforming an entire industry takes grit, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. It takes a team of problem-solvers and builders - people who thrive on moving fast and making an impact. Whether you're passionate about infrastructure, automation, or building resilient systems at scale, there's a place for you here.
Real estate is broken. Come help us fix it.

- Champion observability and performance monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch
- Own and evolve our disaster recovery, incident response, and business continuity strategies
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers on infrastructure best practices and DevOps principles
- Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend improvements that enhance reliability, developer velocity, and system performance
