We are looking for a senior Ruby on Rails developer on a full-time basis to join us for an exciting e-commerce project for the largest logistics company in Switzerland. They are building a fast moving agile team to push local commerce and last mile delivery to the next level. Are you a good fit to be part of this mission?
The platform is being built on top of the open-source spreecommerce.org framework and we are looking for an experienced Rails developer to complete our small and agile team. The frontend will be partly implemented in Rails and partly in React.js using Typescript. The codebase is very fresh - we are just getting started and we need you to help us ship a viable product within the next six months and continuously improve it thereafter.

We are looking for…
- at least 2+ years of professional experience in Ruby-on-Rails
- a good understanding of web development (including devops and security)
- an excellent problem solver and a quick learner
- upper-intermediate or higher level of English
- bonus: hands-on experience with spreecommerce.org and/or complex React app

- define an architecture which will scale well to future use cases and functionality
- work together to create a great user experience for customers and vendors
- create a well-tested, well-maintainable codebase for the future
