About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Manager to join Haptiq's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be crucial in leading our development service teams and designing and implementing end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements while aligning with the organization's technology strategy.
Senior Technical Manager is responsible for directing projects and resources across cross-functional teams, including UI/UX Design, Quality Assurance, Development, DevOps, and Security teams. This role provides leadership in adherence to best practices, policies, and security standards. The Senior Technical Manager will lead project teams in exploring new processes and tools to enhance the delivery of solutions for clients while mentoring, training, and growing delivery teams to provide best-in-class services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate end-to-end solutions that address complex business challenges
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate processes, tools, and technologies for effective delivery of IT solutions
- Lead and guide development teams in implementing proposed solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Identify and mitigate risks related to solution architecture and implementation
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions on time and within budget
- Recommend and implement new processes and tools to improve delivery speed and quality
- Develop, measure, and manage key performance metrics for the team
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- 10+ years of technology industry experience, preferably in an IT service company
- Strong enterprise architecture background (processes, data, methodologies, frameworks, security)
- Experience across multiple application tech stacks, including frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure
- Preferred db technologies: Relational databases (Postgres, MySQL), and non-relational databases (MongoDB, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with the following tech stacks: .Net Core and React
- Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach using SMART concepts to monitor and measure delivery metrics

- Experience managing teams across multiple locations and time zones
