Senior Software Engineer (Python) - Founding Engineer at an AI Startup

We are looking for a talented Founding Engineer to join the team at AI startup. The company is on a mission to transform how engineering organizations detect and solve bugs, leveraging cutting-edge AI to make the development process faster and smarter.

This is not just another engineering role — it’s an opportunity to join as a founding team member, shape the product vision, and influence the technical direction from day one. You’ll work on building a production-ready MVP out of a working proof of concept and lay the foundation for a scalable platform.

About the role

We're seeking an exceptional technical leader with a strong background in programming languages, generative AI, and large language models. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of programming languages, including Python, and experience with frameworks like Langchain. You will be responsible for driving the technical development of our product, working closely with our founding team to deliver a high-quality solution.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement our product's technical roadmap

• Design and implement scalable and efficient software systems

• Collaborate with our founding team to define product requirements and technical specifications

• Lead the development of our product, ensuring high-quality code and best practices

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our product

What you bring

• 8+ years of experience in software development, including 4+ years specializing in Python

• Hands-on experience with LangChain or similar frameworks

• Deep understanding of programming languages, including syntax, semantics, and runtime environments

• Experience with vector databases, semantic graphs, and other relevant technologies

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members

• Experience with Kubernetes, DevOps tools, and cloud-based infrastructure is a plus
