We have an offer for a TESTER with experience in DIGITAL TV DOMAIN. We are a software house working for European and global clients. The project is run by the Belgium based company - one of our long-term clients.
Requirements
The tasks include:
- Testing set top boxes, smart TVs and web based applications
- Creating test cases based on documentation
- Maintaining test scripts using various tools
- Managing documentation of the entire test process
- Making design suggestions based on own understanding of user experience
- Communicating with developers and supporting the development process
- Potentially, automating tests and maintaining automated test scripts
Our key requirements:
- 4+ years of work experience in software testing
- Digital TV domain experience (having technical background/good understanding of it)
- Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional test techniques
- Fluent in spoken and written English (B2/C1)
- Beginner knowledge of automated testing tools
- Knowledge of Linux toolset
- GIT
- Understanding of IP networking, protocols such as HTTP and HTTPS, firewalls, routers, etc.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
- Independent and self-motivated
- Jira, Agile & SDLC processes
Nice to have:
- ISTQB certification
- Bash scripting experience
- Basic Cypress and/or Selenium or basic JS/Python
