Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

The Role: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We’re looking for a seasoned engineer who treats the codebase—and the business problems behind it—as their own. Beyond excellent technical skills, you thrive on autonomy, see opportunities where others see blockers, and are energised by turning ideas into production systems that deliver real impact. This role involves driving technical decisions, collaborating closely with product management and sales teams, and improving our development processes for greater efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of new features across the stack (Angular, TypeScript, Python, Flask).
• Collaborate with product managers to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Work alongside sales and customer success teams to understand client requirements and feedback.
• Drive architectural decisions to enhance scalability and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the engineering team.
• Contribute to infrastructure planning and deployment strategies using AWS or GCP.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, Python
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Experience working with databases, such as MongoDb or SQL
• Ability to work with ambiguous requirements in a startup environment.
• Ability to work with tools like Cursor.ai and stay current with emerging trends in AI-driven software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An eye for product design and user experience.
• Experience in the construction tech industry, similar domains or technologies such as Autodesk Forge, BIM, three.js
• Ability to think strategically about product direction, user needs and translating technological advancements into products (AI, VR, etc.)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product and sales.
