Using agile working frameworks like Scrum and SAFe will enable us to rapidly react on the wishes of our student-, teacher- and other users.
    Within the ETSL team we are responsible to maintain and continuously develop the Editorial Suite.
    With the Edubase team we are responsible for delivering generic services that are used in our end-customers applications.

                                                                                   
                                                                                          Senior Back End Developer


    We are currently looking for a Senior Back End Developer for both the ETSL and the Edubase teams, who enjoys working in a Scrum based environment. You are someone that feels the dynamic of the team and has a positive and can-do attitude. 

    We are looking for a developer who has the following attributes:

    Technical knowledge:

    • Building solutions in Amazon Web Services
    • Frameworks (Vert.X, RxJava)
    • Methods (Microservices, Reactive Programming)
    • Java 8+
    • NOSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
    • Quality and version management (Sonar, Git, Bitbucket)
    • Continuous Integration (Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar)
    • Linux
     
    Soft skills:

    • Very good knowledge of the English language (B2/C1)
    • Can work well in an Agile environment
    • Excellent team player
    • Very good problem solving and analytical skills
    • Good communicator among team members
