Senior Node.js Developer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to help us grow our backend expertise, someone who is also comfortable contributing to frontend development to deliver the product end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, other developers, and testers to deliver high-quality features and improvements.

• Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Conduct code reviews and support other developers, ensuring best coding practices, high standards and fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing fresh ideas to the table.

• Support pre-sales activities by collaborating with the sales team to evaluate opportunities, define technical requirements, engage with clients, propose solutions, prepare POCs, and support scoping, budgeting, and timelines.

• Conduct technical interviews with future, potential candidates.

Requirements

• Professional experience working as a Backend or Fullstack Developer.

• Proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, JavaScript, and associated frameworks/libraries.

• Solid knowledge of design patterns and modern backend architecture principles.

• Experience with SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL.

• Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Playwright).

• Familiarity with frontend development area, e.g React.js, including hooks, state management (e.g., Zustand, Context API), and component-based architecture.

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and basic infrastructure concepts, with the ability to independently deploy and operate applications.

• Experience with version control tools like Git.

• Interest or experience in AI-driven applications, including familiarity with LLMs (Large Language Models), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI integration into web apps.

• Openness to exploring and working with other technologies when needed.

• Native Polish and English (B2+)

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.

• Familiarity with GraphQL APIs.

• Familiarity with no-code/low-code platforms (e.g. Bubble.io / Framer / FlutterFlow) 

• Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and experience with serverless solutions.
