Administrator – VMware / Nutanix

About This Offer

We are expanding our NOC team to support services delivered to newly onboarded enterprise clients. As a VMware / Nutanix Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and troubleshooting complex server, storage, virtualization, and network environments. You will work with modern enterprise-grade technologies such as VMware vSphere, vCloud, vRealize, and Nutanix AOS/Prism, while collaborating closely with our L2/L3 engineering teams and technology vendors.

The role includes a single shift with on-call duties, full participation in incident and problem management, and involvement in infrastructure projects and deployments. After a 2–4 week onboarding period in the office, the position offers up to 100% remote work.

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit

We are looking for a technically specialist who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and solving complex infrastructure challenges. You should have hands-on experience in server and virtualization administration, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate across different engineering levels (L1/L2/L3).

Required skills and experience:

1. Server environment maintenance (on-premise and virtual), including routine admin tasks

2. Installation and support of HA and DR solutions for VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix,

3. Monitoring and analysis of key application performance and availability

4. Support and partial administration of LAN/WAN/WLAN networks as well as basic security systems

5. Experience with:

   • VMware / vSphere / vCloud / vRealize

   • Nutanix / AOS / Prism

   • Servers, storage, SAN, backup,

   • Network infrastructure LAN/WAN

   • Incident handling, on-call duties

Nice-to-have advantages:

1. Knowledge of solutions from Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, F5, Infoblox, Cisco, Efficient IP, Zscaler

2. Certifications: CCNA, Network+, PCNSE, FCA, JNCIA-Junos

3. VMware/Nutanix certificates (VCP-DCV, NCA/NCP-MCI, VCTA-DCV)
