As a Care Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical and product support as part of our global Care organization. This is a global position in a 24x7 support environment, where you will work on real-world technical challenges reported by both external and internal customers.

You will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving customer-reported technical issues in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). In addition, you will support integration, delivery, and upgrade activities, ensuring smooth and reliable service for our customers.

Handling both regular and emergency cases will be a core part of your daily work. You will collaborate closely with Nokia customers’ technical teams as well as internal stakeholders, including R&D, Integration and Delivery engineers, and Customer Service Managers. This role offers strong exposure to cutting-edge technologies and cross-functional teamwork in an international environment.


Your responsibilities

  • Provide solutions/workarounds to technical issues reported by Nokia external and internal customers for Nokia Core product family within agreed SLAs 

  • Provide support to troubleshooting methods like system level tracing, debug, protocol flow analysis

  • Identifies, reproduces and characterizes defects and collaborates with R&D teams for fixes

  • Contributes for Root Causes Analysis (RCA) analysis and report creation

  • Prepare knowledge articles and other technical documents 

  • Develop competencies in products and solutions. 


Your skills and experience

You have: 

  • Master/Engineer level in Telecommunications, IT or Electronic Engineering

  • Very good understanding of Telecommunication (LTE, 4G, 5G, etc) and IP/VoIP Networks as well as knowledge of cloud technologies used in telecommunication solution (preferably OpenStack, OpenShift) with understanding of VNF/CNF 

  • Very good Linux knowledge (command line, networking, diagnostic)

  • Fluent spoken and written English 

It would be nice if you also had: 

  • Experience with Implementation, Integration, Acceptance Tests, O&M and/or Care for Telecommunication Products

  • Experience with Protocol Analyzer Tools (Wireshark etc.) and message flow analysis 

  • Ability to work under stress, very good teamwork and communication skills 

  • Willingness to skill development through training and tracking competencies.
