Crucial skills:
- Wide experience in managing production systems in GCP at scale
- Linux background (Debian/Ubuntu)
- Container orchestration, e.g. Kubernetes
- Programming skills in either Python or Java, or Go.
- Deep understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Ability to work quickly and effectively whilst maintaining quality
- Desire to evaluate and learn new technologies to tackle real user problems effectively
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work across teams
- B2 English
A big thumb up for:
- Experience with managing Kubernetes at scale
- Experience managing infrastructure with multi-tiered and multi-region web architecture
- Hands on knowledge of in REST API and microservice architectures
