For our client, a German-Finnish consulting company, we are looking for candidates for the position of: Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

Long-term cooperation with a German-Finnish company that implements data projects for clients from various industries, including: e-commerce, medical, fin-tech, industrial, marketing.

Cooperation with a team (5 people) of data engineers with at least 5 years of experience in the data area

Translating business requirements into data architecture and infrastructure.

Designing and building a data and analytics infrastructure that makes data available through appropriate interfaces to clients and other teams.

Supporting Data Scientists and BI Developers in data analysis initiatives and ensuring optimal data delivery architecture.

Possibility to develop to the role of a Data Scientist.

Creating ETL procedures.

We expect

Over 5 years of experience in data engineering.

Experience with distributed systems, incl. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.

Knowledge of one of the following languages: Python, Java, Scala.

Solid SQL skills and knowledge of databases and data warehouses.

Experience in CI / CD environments.

Experience with cloud providers: AWS/Azure/Google.

Very good command of English, min. B2.

The possibility of a quick start is welcome, and a 3-month notice period is also accepted.
