Senior Backend C# / .NET Engineer

What's the Project?

Our client drives data connectivity into action by offering a proprietary platform and network that deliver critical solutions across the healthcare ecosystem. This team operates in C#/.NET and runs on Azure, Postgres databases, and GitHub; No automated tests. The candidate needs to have experience and work with stored procedure development because the client's backend is on SQL Server with .NET framework.

You Perfectly Match If You Have:

● Experience with .Net Framework (vs. Core) is a must

● 1 or 2 years of experience with stored procedure development is a must

● Strong knowledge and experience with complex dynamic sql

● 5+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing and implementing enterprise application solutions with .NET programming language on various frameworks: C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, .Net Core.

● 3+ years of experience in MS SQL with some experience in SSRS

● C# / .NET deep knowledge/expertise

● Multi-cloud experience, at least Azure

● Tools: GitHub for code mgmt, Datadog for observability, Slack for communication

● Experience with Stored Procedures for efficient database operations

● This role is not just about resolving tickets—it’s about adding value and helping clients achieve their business objectives

● Good knowledge of system design, design patterns, data structures, and basic algorithms

● Experience with Content Management Systems, Survey software, Learning Management Systems.

● Strong proficiency with Rest API design & implementation experience

● Hands-on experience with unit/integration testing

● Great communication skills, ability to onboard/ mentor junior team members, attention to detail

● English proficiency

Nice to have:

● Experience working with stored procedures, MySQLServer

● Ability to be given high-level guidance and direction and work with some ambiguity

● Some experience with IIS, Windows scheduler, Windows Services

Your day-to-day activities:

● Support and enhance existing platforms

● Working on multiple projects at once while prioritizing them in a timely manner.

● Architect and develop solutions and provide technical leadership throughout the development life cycle

● Develop accurate time-estimates for work assignments and communicate with engineering management and team leaders on task prioritization, scheduling, and coordination

● Provide technical input and knowledge to your team for the planning, design, and requirements process for new products and features
