Nethone is seeking a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer. The successful candidate will join a team of professionals working on a set of ongoing projects that support a stable product in a phase of dynamic business growth. You will be working with 3 development teams and spreading DevOps culture across the company.

Responsibilities:

●  Cooperating with development teams helping them in building and deploying new services in stable and secure way,

●  Working with multiple AWS services depending on current engineering needs and improving our infrastructure automation with Terraform,

●  Maintaining and improving our Kubernetes infrastructure,

●  Maintaining and improving our monitoring, logging and security solutions,

●  Responding to system failures/inefficiencies to ensure its availability and performance

Requirements:

●  Linux (Amazon Linux/CentOS/Ubuntu)

●  Kubernetes (Preferably EKS) and container technologies.

●  AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, CloudFront, Route53, Cloudwatch, RDS, Elasticache, Lambda, IAM)

●  IaaC (Terraform)

●  Configuration Management (Ansible)

●  CI/CD methodologies

●  Version control (Git)

●  Security best practices in cloud-native environments

●  Being proactive and able to effectively communicate with peers and other teams

Nice to have:

●  Advanced AWS services (e.g. RedShift, MSK)

●  Monitoring (Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana)

●  Logging (EFK, Sentry, Loki)

●  Relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB)

●  Terragrunt

●  Gitlab

About the Team:

Size: 3 people and growing further
One of a couple of technical teams that together are working on a single product

Main responsibility: end to end delivery (design, implementation, deployment, maintenance, users support, monitoring, including on-call duty, promotion of good usage practices) of:

●  application layer deployment platform (Kubernetes clusters and virtual machines for non container-orchestrated deployments on cloud environments), including logging, metrics and alerting platforms, selected cloud services supporting developer team application workflows etc

●  internal ticketing and CI/CD system

●  auxiliary services e.g. company VPN

Key stack components: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform,, Ansible, Gitlab Strong focus on the security aspects of the platform
