Data Science Hub based in Warsaw is a place where we develop innovative solutions in the field of quantitative methods and apply it in the exciting world of globally connected Nestle Supply Chain and beyond.

Key responsibilities:

  • Independent work dedicated to exploration and analysis of data
  • Development of appropriate data flows, visualizations, statistical and machine learning models to deliver business benefits
  • Lead dedicated projects including results presenting for the stakeholders
  • Support the continuous improvement of Ways of Working of the whole team – based on internal and external examples of best practices and feedback from the project stakeholders
  • Involvement in innovative projects in various areas within Nestlé

Expectations towards candidates:

  • At least 1 year of experience in similar position
  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Big Data or similar studies
  • Experience in tools for statistical analysis: R, Python, SAS or others  
  • Experience in application of statistical techniques and concepts (statistical tests, regression, feature selection, time series modeling, etc.) in the business environment 
  • Experience and independence in processing and analyzing large amounts of data
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision trees, boosting, etc.) 
  • Good communication and presentation skills and willingness to grow
  • Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Ability to work with different organizational levels
  • Willingness to work in an international environment
  • Fluent English is a must
