Senior Product Designer
We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer who’s not only strong in UI and UX, but also thinks like a product partner: curious, proactive, and driven to understand the real problem before jumping into solutions. You’ll turn complex, data-heavy workflows into clear, intuitive experiences — and use evidence (product data + user behaviour insights) to identify friction, form strong hypotheses, propose solutions, and validate impact through outcomes.
At OptiFly, we build advanced scheduling and optimisation software for airlines. We’re reshaping how airlines plan and operate their networks, combining deep industry expertise with modern technology. Our airline partners include Ryanair, Wizz Air, Eurowings, and VietJet Air. You’ll work closely with our CEO and Product Owner based in Ireland, alongside engineering and teams around the world.
What you’ll be doing
Own design outcomes across core product areas, from discovery through delivery — shaping what we build, not just how it looks
Turn ambiguous, complex, data-heavy problems into clear flows, high-quality UI, and functional prototypes — fast
Proactively learn the domain and user workflows; ask the right questions and define what “success” means before execution
Use product data and user behaviour insights to spot friction, form hypotheses, and propose solutions with clear rationale
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape scope, validate feasibility, and ship efficiently with high quality
Run lightweight discovery and validation (user calls, usability tests, concept checks) to de-risk decisions and improve outcomes
Maintain and evolve the design system and reusable patterns to keep the product consistent and help the team move faster
We might be looking for you if you
Have 7+ years of experience designing SaaS products
Bring strong product thinking: you can frame problems, ask the right questions, and explain the “why” behind decisions
Can simplify complex, data-rich workflows into clear, intuitive experiences
Are comfortable with power-user interfaces: dense layouts, multiple states, edge cases, and systems thinking
Use evidence to drive decisions: behaviour data + user feedback → hypotheses → improvements → measured results
Have strong UI craft (layout, hierarchy, typography) and excellent Figma skills (components/variants/design systems)
Work with high ownership and proactivity — you spot issues/opportunities yourself and drive solutions through delivery
Communicate confidently in English (C1+) in a fully remote environment
Perks & benefits
Annual holiday allowance of 26 days
Fully remote work and flexible working hours
