Senior Ops Engineer (DOC) with Azure

About the Customer:

Our client is a global leader in electronic signature technology and agreement solutions, helping organizations connect and automate how they prepare, sign, act on, and manage agreements. Their highly reliable production software environments are at the heart of their business, powering secure and efficient digital workflows for customers worldwide.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a second Operations Engineer (OE) to join the production engineering team. In this role, you will monitor, maintain, and optimize software production environments, collaborating closely with infrastructure and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor production software environments:

• Proactively supervise system health, respond to incidents, and ensure uptime and reliability within the production stack.

• Create patches and bug fixes:

• Collaborate with development teams to identify, develop, and deploy fixes for production issues.

• Deploy software in production environments:

• Execute and improve release processes for mission-critical applications, including planning, readiness, and validation.

• Improve existing software for production deployment and provisioning:

• Work with application and infrastructure teams to automate and streamline deployment processes, provisioning, and environment setup.

The Ideal Candidate profile: 

• Technical background in application and server support: Experience supporting .NET or similar enterprise applications in Windows and cloud environments.

• Experience with infrastructure operations: Skilled in managing Windows Servers, Active Directory, security configurations, and virtual machines.

• DevOps and automation skills: Proficient with CI/CD tools and pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps); skilled in scripting and automating deployments or environment preparation.

• Monitoring & troubleshooting: Able to use system monitoring tools, analyze logs, and troubleshoot production issues effectively.

• Software deployment & provisioning: Understand software release cycles and production deployment best practices.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in IT operations, systems administration, or related roles

• Hands-on support for platform environments (Windows, Active Directory, Virtual Machines)

• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools

• Knowledge of patching, security configuration, and incident management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure)

• Familiarity with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Application support for enterprise software (e.g., credit bureau, financial platforms)

• Proactive improvement of deployment and provisioning processes

Nice to Have:

• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

• Experience monitoring production environments at scale

• Exposure to compliance and data security practices
