Senior Fullstack Engineer (Focus on Typescript)

About the client:

Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates)
• Building new APIs and web applications 
• Migrating legacy services to new technologies 
• Creating and managing online ads for private users (Web)
• Managing appointment systems between sellers and buyers (Web)
• Running user profile services to store and manage user data

Requirements:

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript for web application development
• Proficiency with JavaScript for web application development
• Solid HTML and CSS knowledge
• Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot or Node.js for building APIs and web applications
• Fluent English (at least Upper-Intermediate level)

Should Have:

• Experience with hosting in Cloud (preferred AWS)
• Docker/containers
• AWS RDS/SQL DB
• AWS Lambda
• AWS CloudFront

Nice to Have:

• Experience with observability tools like Datadog
