About the project:

Azercell is an Azerbaijani telecommunications company, largest mobile network operator in Azerbaijan and the second-largest taxpayer in country outside of the oil industry. Main products are: Fixed telephony, Mobile telephony, Internet services, Wireless broadband, Value-added services. Project: Self-services B2C mobile platform development.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business requirement and translating them into the technical solution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems, good technical background, ability to collaborate both with business stakeholders and IT development team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements for mobile application development
• Analyze requirements to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
• Analyze and understand current solution and legacy systems
• Develop and document business requirements and the solution
• Create, develop, manage and own project backlog with all dependencies
• Participate in long-term product roadmaps creation
• Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives
• Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals
• Collaborate with project IT development team in designing and communicating the better technical solution
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and executives
• Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements
• Identify opportunities for product improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts

Requirements:

• Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
• Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Analytical mindset and ability to find non-standard solutions
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques. Knowledge of business process analysis methodologies and tools (BPMN, UML);
• Ability to facilitate meetings and clearly communicate technical information to business stakeholders
• Ability to translate technical language into business language and vice versa
• Proficient in SQL and experience working with databases
• Experience in working with APIs/analyzing APIs
• Experience with Mobile application development is a must
• Experience in the Telecom industry is a must
• Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of Software development life cycle
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Knowledge and experience on Agile methodologies
