We are looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Poland.
Our customer is one of the world's largest food and beverage companies, operating in 189 countries with over 2000 brands. The company's diverse portfolio includes products such as bottled water, dairy products, breakfast cereals, coffee, confectionery, frozen food, pet foods, snacks, and baby food.
As a Business Analyst, you will take a central role in defining requirements for a global consumer brand within the premium coffee industry, working closely with both the Product Owner and Product Manager. Drawing on a range of data sources, you’ll help shape the development of impactful data-driven solutions.
Your responsibilities will include translating complex business needs into well-structured, actionable user stories, and collaborating with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of data products. Acting as the vital link between business and technology, you will champion clarity, strong data governance, and smooth execution across the project lifecycle.
Requirement Gathering & Documentation
Collaborate with business Stakeholders to understand needs and define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business need
Translate the high-level requirements into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira
Draft clear and testable functional specifications for developers and coordinate with the developers to ensure the technical feasibility.
Support in building the KPI’S definitions and aligning the logic with business stakeholders and help ensure KPI’S accuracy.
Maintain the glossaries, dashboard documentation and data source mappings
Identifies gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation
Project Coordination
Help to manage the backlog, support the sprint planning and refinement
Align across the stakeholders to identify and track dependencies
Align cross-functional teams across data, (Magento, CRM, business), identify dependencies and track progress
Work with key stakeholders to identify key learning needs/gaps then frame, design, analyze studies with Product Owner to help teams understand the shopper’s POV
Collect, clean, analyze, and present data that inform decision-making
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends
Build strong relationships and collaboration with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, vendor partners, and broader consumer insights team.
Testing & Data Quality
Support the testing of the dashboards and data models.
Help build the testing scenarios, investigate issues and work with the developers to resolve them.
Experience
4-5+ years of experience as a business analyst, ideally in data or e-commerce digital product environments
Proficiency in data visualization tools Power BI
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Familiarity with Kafka, Snowflake and data ingestion concepts would be a plus
Experience working with Jira, confluence
Experience with Magento, CRM platforms would be a plus
Skills
Strong analytical, creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong understanding of basic system engineering, compliance reglamentations.
Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements
Understanding of modeling techniques and IT landscape in the functional area
