IT Infrastructure Project Manager (with German)

N-iX is looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager (with German) to support infrastructure and operational initiatives within the German IT team.

This role focuses on managing multiple parallel IT infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery timelines, coordination between teams, and alignment with business needs. The position reports directly to the Director of IT Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate IT infrastructure and operational projects

• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables

• Coordinate communication between local IT teams, global IT teams, and business stakeholders

• Monitor project progress and ensure tasks are completed according to plan

• Provide regular project status updates and reporting

• Support project governance, documentation, and risk tracking

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in IT Project Management, preferably within infrastructure or IT operations

• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across technical teams and business units

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience working in international and distributed IT environments

• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud environments (Azure preferred)

• Familiarity with server environments and infrastructure operations

• Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new technologies

• Experience working with Jira, Confluence Microsoft Project and (M365 environment)

• English and German – Upper-intermediate or Advanced level is required

Typical Projects (Key Focus):

• Migration of on-premise systems to Microsoft Azure

• Implementation and optimization of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

• IT integration projects after company acquisitions

• Infrastructure improvements based on penetration test results

• Cost optimization and infrastructure efficiency initiatives

• Coordination of third-party vendors delivering IT solutions
