What we are expecting from you:
- At least 5 years of experience with Java technologies
- Practical knowledge of microservices and REST API
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related fields
- English language skills allowing for efficient communication with our peers and customers in North America
- Ability to lead technical initiatives or features requiring excellent communication and organization between all parties involved.
- Focus not only on daily activities but ability to look beyond helping to organize work and planning for the team.
- Engagement in complex tasks and defining, and maintaining architecture for the team.
- Ability to work without supervision from other members of the team.
- Ability to make a strong impact on the team as a technical leader, as well as impact on the product and processes beyond the immediate team.
Must have:
- Java (Spring), REST
- Kubernetes/Docker or alternatives
- Experience in distributed systems (e.g. Microservices architecture or multiple client-server topology or similar) and hands-on experience with the following aspects
- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure
- CI\CD in such systems
- Automated testing
- Observability and monitoring
Nice to have:
- RabbitMQ/AMQ experience
- SIP, RTP experience
- GStreamer experience
- Networking knowledge
