Senior Full-Stack Developer / Tech Leader

The Computer-Aided Dispatch Center, a crucial component of cutting-edge group communication solutions, is chiefly responsible for effective dispatching. The responsibility of developing integrated dispatch solutions lies with the Astro Console Team, known for their Dispatch and Content Logging abilities. Their principal function involves facilitating audio communication between dispatchers and radio users within the public safety sector. This includes a diverse group of professionals, such as 911 call handlers, firefighters, police, military - essentially wherever real-time, reliable, secure communication is a priority. The Dispatch and Logging team is looking for specialists eager to develop the mission critical products. As a part of a cross functional Scrum Team you will actively participate in the end to end development process working closely with Product Owner and business stakeholders. We expect the candidate to be open to solving challenging front-end and back-end problems using: C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, Angular, Node.js.

We are looking for a candidate who will additionally take the role of a Technical Leader in the Scrum Team.

Basic requirements:

• 5+ years of hands on experience as a back-end developer (C/C++)

• basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript

• willingness to quickly learn and apply Angular framework developing applications also using HTML5/CSS3

• ability to work on any problem type (full-stack development approach & support for the complete development life cycle)

• good communication and collaboration skills 

• fluent level of English

• agile mindset

Skills as a plus:

• experience in JavaScript/TypeScript

• experience in Angular

• experience in Node.js, Express, Jest

• basic knowledge of SQL

• practical knowledge of using Git version control system

• experience with CI/CD

• proven experience in a role of a Team/Tech leader
