Our team develops distributed and highly scalable storage for the Digital Asset and Evidence Management Solution, as well as other products that are part of CommandCentral portfolio. Our product is a backend application allowing users to store and manage digital content from many sources described by any metadata. Together with us you will be responsible for the development of the product that helps law enforcements and emergency call takers in their day to day work. The team is responsible for end-to-end software development including: design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance. We work in a well balanced scrum team with a full range of software development experience and local Product Owner. We embrace the DevOps culture and Continuous Delivery approach. Tests are automated on multiple levels (UT, box, performance and end-to-end).

Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer, a Problem Solver to join the CommandCentral Drive cloud product. Your responsibilities will include:
- Influence and create new designs, software, architecture, and methods for deploying large-scale distributed systems
- Be a contributing member of the team that define the technical approach, system and software architecture, and API design of Motorola Solutions next generation centralized storage
- Learn and deeply understand the range of Motorola Solutions internal platforms
- Create a technical approach and a design for new features that span the organization
- Drive new capabilities and requirements in our platforms to support new product features
- Take part in an on-call rotation (one sprint on, multiple sprint off)
Basic Requirements
- Over 3 years of experience in Software Development and minimum two years of experience in developing scalable, cloud hosted applications.
- Knowledge C#, .Net Core.
- Willingness to work on any problem type - development, testing, deployment automation.
- Ability to learn and quickly adapt to solve practical problems.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related fields or equivalent experience.
Optional/Desired Qualifications
- Experience with hosting and developing applications using public cloud (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure or GCP) would be a plus.
- Software development skills in Python.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Linux operating system knowledge.
