Configuration QA Analyst

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking energy provider developing innovative technology solutions for the energy industry. The company focuses on advanced subsea systems supporting oil & gas extraction and transmission, combining engineering expertise with practical industrial impact.

We are looking for a Configuration QA Analyst at an early mid-level to join a team responsible for validating solutions implemented in hardware used to monitor oil & gas extraction processes. This role is ideal for someone strong in structured testing, data validation, logic verification, and system integration, with the potential and motivation to grow towards automation in the future. You will start by deeply understanding the testing process, business requirements, and system logic, with the opportunity to later contribute to automation improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Validate JSON structures, data consistency, and data mappings.

• Test control logic, including triggers, sequences, and function blocks.

• Verify data models, signals, interfaces, and system integrations.

• Translate specifications and IO lists into test scenarios.

• Identify and report issues related to structure, logic, and integrations.

• Use validation tools and support improvements in testing processes.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of JSON structures, data validation, and system mappings.

• Ability to analyze control logic, data flows, and dependencies.

• Familiarity with data models, signals, interfaces, and protocols.

• Base experience with scripting in Python

• Experience using testing, validation, or configuration tools.

• Knowledge of Modbus, CANbus, or other industrial communication protocols is a plus.

• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to grow towards automation.
