Manual and Automation Tester (QA Engineer)

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in testing and min 2 years in automated testers
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes and tools e.g. Selenium / Jasmine / Tosca / Cucamber
• Experience testing SOAP web services as well as testing REST API
• Knowledge of tools enabling API testing, e.g. Postman, SoapUI
• Knowledge of HTTP and REST API basics (protocols, headers, statuses, ...)
• Data formats, including understanding JSON and XML
• Ability to construct SQL queries and relational databases
• Ability to create test cases based on product requirements and design specifications in technical and non-functional terms
• Very good English - verbal and written communication

Nice to have:

• Recognized Testing/QA certifications
• Experience with insurance products (Guidewire, Fadata, TIA)
• Experience in ETL testing and data migration
• Experience in working in agile methodologies
• Experience in large, international projects
• German or other European language is a plus

• functional tests, 
• database procedure/view tests
• performance tests (learning opportunity)
• manual and automated tests
• participation in non-functional tests
• conducting acceptance tests with the client
