Lead C# Developer

Montrose Software is going to help one of the  premier academic medical centers based in New York City. The Hospital is focused on ​​patient care, education, and research. The main priority of our client is to meet the individual needs of their patients. 

Montrose's main goal is to help with rebuilding the current system’s architecture, but also implement a data update tool for internal use that is integrated with their ticketing system. The project is currently in the planning phase, and soon will get into the implementation phase. The team is counting three people: an architect and two software developers but  as soon as the project enters the development phase the team will need more Developers and Testers. 

The cooperation include: daily check-ins and weekly discussions with internal operation groups that are part of the product's integration and decision making process.

Qualifications

• Proven team leadership experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering

• Deep expertise in C# and .NET ecosystem

• Experience with SQL Server

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git or SVN)

• Solid knowledge of unit testing and test automation practices

• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)

• Fluent in spoken and written English

Nice to have:

• JavaScript, HTML/CSS

• MVC frameworks

• Python (as a supporting language)

• React.js

Please note that the interview process is divided into four parts:

1. Technical phone screening~30 minutes

2. Technical interview~2 hours

3. Non-technical call with hiring manager~45 minutes

4. Optional: call with client for which you will be working
