Frontend React Developer
About the Project
We are looking for a Mid Front-End Developer to join us on a web application project in the EdTech industry - an educational platform being delivered for our client. The product is a modern, user-facing web application aimed at an end-user audience that expects a polished, accessible experience.
Tech context
Frontend: React 18 with TypeScript
Backend: .NET (REST API)
Design source: Figma Make
Engagement
Duration: 6 months - project runs through October 2026
Start date: ASAP
Capacity: 140 hours/month up to full-time, depending on your availability
Work mode: fully remote
Equipment: your own hardware
Responsibilities
Implement UI views and components in React 18 with TypeScript based on designs delivered via Figma Make, adapting them to the existing project structure and libraries in use.
Build reusable, testable, and maintainable components that follow the conventions already established in the codebase.
Manage application state using Redux Toolkit.
Integrate the frontend with the .NET REST API using Axios - handle requests, responses, error states, and loading states.
Style components with SCSS, keeping the styling layer consistent and scalable.
Deliver interfaces that comply with WCAG 2.2 AA standards: semantic HTML, correct ARIA usage, full keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast, accessible forms, proper focus management, and screen reader compatibility.
Write unit and/or component tests to protect critical flows and keep the codebase safe to change.
Participate in code reviews - both as an author and as a reviewer - and contribute to raising the quality bar of the project.
Collaborate daily with designers, backend developers, QA, and the Project Manager to scope, estimate, and deliver features.
Support cross-browser and responsive behavior across target devices.
Communicate blockers and risks early so we can replan together.
